KIDS AT THE ZOO

Keep your distance
                        or we’ll spit on you.

WIND TURBINES

                        They look gentle from a distance
                        but up close
                        they become menacing,
                        sword-wielding samurai.

                        You have lost everything
                        and I love my life.

THE PALM OF YOUR HAND

                        Nothing to see:
                        just crevices,
                        fissures,
                        empty riverbeds…

HORRIFIC ADVENTURES

                        I waded
                        through seaweed and kelp.

                        You took some pictures
                        of caves.
